MuddyPaws New Friends book review

As a Parragon Book Buddy, I was delighted to recieve Muddypaws' New Friends to read with my two little people. The story is written by Steve Smallman and illustrated by Simon Mendez http://www.parragon.com/uk/books/detail/4071

My little boy, Blake is four and in reception so he really related to the little boy, Ben in the story who goes to school!

Muddypaws is an adorable little puppy who misses his best friend, Ben while he is at school - there isn't anyone to play with!

One day Ben takes Muddypaws to puppy school and the story is all about the new friends and the activities and lessons the puppies get up to!

My daughter, Maegan aged 2 loves the cute little puppies - especially Droopy!

My children often ask if we can have a dog - whilst we are living where we are, the answer is no - but one day we might :) - I had a Border Collie named Skip!

Blake is learning to read and managed to pick out and read a few bits of the story himself, whilst Meg likes to talk about the beautiful pictures - look out for all the lovely little details and glimpses of wildlife!

The story is a charming little tale of friendship and mischief and one my little people keep choosing from our bookcase.

Whilst we enjoyed the paperback picture book, its also available as a digital book on iBook
