I have two children (Blake) boy born June 2009 and (Maegan) girl born June 2011. Before having my Babies, I was an Online Marketing and Social Media Manager for a Luxury lifestyle and Fashion Brand (I have a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing and Advertising). My background was strongly focused on fashion and media, my CV includes Selfridges, Arcadia, Homebody, Emap and 20th Century Fox.

Professionally, I've always blogged - since 2004 and in my last job I managed 3 brand blogs and have to say I missed blogging so much, it inspired me to start this one in May 2009! I also write at Little House Lovely - A Homes and Interiors Blog.

Over the past 13 years, I have seen blogging evolve in many ways and the way we interact with social media constantly change.

My focus has shifted with those trends and as my Pinterest account has strengthened and bloomed in popularity as blogging has wained, the majority of my current content creation takes place within Pinterest.

I work with many brands in different ways, from product reviews and sponsored posts  on my blog to blogger outreach management and digital marketing advice.

I like to build up long term relationships and work with brands and PR consultants across multichannel disciplines. 
Some of the ways in which I've worked with brands include product reviews, writing articles, hosting advertorials, social media outreach and consultancy. 


Managing Blogger Outreach Campaigns

I'm also available to manager blogger outreach campaigns for brands.

November 2015 I managed a group of 12 bloggers who reviewed a selection of Star Wars books and running reader competitions. 

February 2016 I managed a group of 13 bloggers for a special World Book Day project involving book reviews, creating costumes and running reader competitions. 

Pinterest Boards
I was an early adopter of Pinterest and it is my personal favourite social media tool - I have 79K pinterest subscribers and I've been hired by brands to create Pinterest Pinboards for them.

Amazon reviews 
I was recently hired by a book publisher to acquire 15 people to write reviews for their book launches on Amazon. 

Consultancy
2018 has seen me taking on a consultancy mentor style role guiding a small start up firm through their first steps on social media.
