Absolutely amazing collection of Star Wars books from Egmont published in time for Christmas, I really can't wait to share these with you!
Starting with the Star Wars Starfighter Workshop: Make Your Own X-wing and Tie Fighter
This kit comes with press out sturdy pieces (foam sandwiched between laminated card) and step by step instructions to build the two Star Wars starfighters - Blake age 6 built them with the help of Daddy - the age guide is for 7 plus. Blake loved all the little details especially the little R2D2 (one of his favourite characters!) The kit also includes a lovely story and activity puzzle book too. Theres also tiny punch out holes should you decide to hang your models - something we might actually do in Blake's bedroom.
Check out the special video made by Lucasfilm - listen carefully for a little whistle beep from R2D2!
The Star Wars Treasury: The Original Trilogy
is a hardback book that would be treasured by a Star Wars fan of any age, it contains the original trilogy - A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi retold by Ryder Windham and a plethora of amazing colourful paintings by Brian Rood. We follow the fantastic adventures of Luke Skywalker from the deserts of Tatooine and beyond the icy plains of Hoth as the rebels battle to liberate the galaxy.
The Star Wars Annual 2016
has an eyecatching gold hardback cover and is jam packed full of puzzles, facts and artwork, there's plenty to keep an avid Star Wars fan busy and the annual also contains a section for The Force Awakens.
Escape From Darth Vader: A Star Wars Saga Reader (Young Readers Level 1)
is a simple story aimed at new and developing readers - R2-D2, C-3PO and Princess Leia are the focus on this one so it's a great book to introduce little people to Star Wars.
Young Readers Level 2 Use the Force!: A Star Wars Saga Reader
is an engaging story aimed at readers growing in confidence and independence. This book explores the lessons Luke receives from Yoda on how to use the Force - these are all great lessons that can be applied to life lessons such as Do or Do Not - There is no try!
I thought you might like to see this wonderful clip of Blake age 6 reading from the book.
