Breastfeeding in Bluewater

Bluewater shopping centre in Dartford (20 mins from Bromley) has some really great facilities for breastfeeding mums!

Look out for their family rooms dotted about near the restrooms - these not only have nappy change and toilets big enough to accommodate a pram, shopping and any extra little ones you may have with you... they also have rocking chairs in them for breastfeeding mummy's! The door to the room is lockable so you don't need to worry about other families walking in on you.
The only downside is that they are very popular so you may have to wait a little while for one to come free!

  1. John Lewis at Bluewater also has a great babycare room on the first floor with a breast feeding area. Plus a new one in the basement but I haven't tried that one yet. The bfing area is easily missed as it's around the corner past the change area. I prefer this to the smaller rooms throughout the mall. I used one once to feed and found it pretty smelly with a dirty chair. I fed in the food court once, but I've got squirmy twins who like to life my shirt, and like to de-latch themselves to have a look around!

It's a really nice group. It's more of a drop in than a regular baby group, but the people are really friendly.
